USACO 2026 US Open -- Final Results

The US Open serves as our "national championship" contest. It was a proctored invitational contest for pre-college students in the USA whose performance was strongest in the preceding three monthly contests.

Final Remarks

This was the first proctored contest we have run in quite some time. It was a useful experience, helping us figure out how to fine-tune things for future proctored contests. Overall, I think the contest went reasonably smoothly. The results from this contest were one of the primary determinants in selection of our finalists to invite to the 2026 USACO summer training camp.

A large number of people contributed towards the quality and success of this USACO contest, including Sujay Konda, Bing-Dong Liu, Benjamin Qi, Claire Zhang, Richard Qi, Botao Yuan, Thomas Liu, Avnith Vijayram, Alex Chen, and Brandon Wang. We are also exceedingly grateful to our sponsor this season, Citadel, for all they have contributed towards making our program possible!

Happy coding!
